This visa is for points-tested skilled workers who have been nominated by an Australian State or Territory government agency or sponsored by an eligible relative living in a designated area.
This is a temporary residence visa. It lets you and any family members who have also been granted this visa with below features
- Visa is valid for four years from the date of grant.
- Pathway to Permanent Residency Visa of Australia (Applying Skilled-Regional (Residence) visa (Class 887)).
- Work and study in specified regional area of Australia.

- Age below 50 at the time of an application.
- Require English language ability.
- Nominated an occupation must be listed on Skilled Occupation list.
- Suitable and Valid Skill Assessment .
- Require to satisfy the claimed Points of invitation.
- Nominated by an Australian state or territory government agency.
- Health and Character Requirements.
